With my hair tousled by the salty breeze…

My pockets filled with incredible seashells…

After a long day at the beach, with sun-kissed skin and sandy toes, I’d return home and empty my pockets onto the table.

I couldn’t wait to marvel at my findings.

I’d sit for hours, carefully selecting each one…

Stringing them together with clumsy but determined hands.

The necklaces I made were far from perfect, but to me, they were magical.
